 (Effective July 1, 2023, the CPUC is no longer granting Gas Allowances for Gas Line Extensions. Gas Rule 15 C.1.) 

Examples of Gas projects include: 

• New Gas Service Installations (New Construction, ADUs that meet CPUC second service line requirements)
• Gas Service Meter/Manifold upgrade (for added load - this will be dependant upon Utility Gas Load Assessment)
• Gas Service Relocations to meet Utility Clearance Requirements (away from the Electric panel. This situation is uncommon but can be done. In most cases, it's more cost-effective to relocate the Electric panel.)
• Gas Demo/Removal to go All-electric and/or for New or Remodel Construction

• Boiler (Hydronic Heat)
• Water Heater (tank-type)
• Tankless Water Heater
• Clothes Dryer
• Oven
• Cooktop
• Range with Oven
• Gas-fired Generator
• Fireplace(s)
• Backyard Range/Oven
• BBQ/Patio Heater(s)
• Fire Pit
• Swimming Pool Heater

 Project Management Services include:

• Schedule a Site Visit
• Assess and Submit 811 Dig Alert
• Assess Existing Conditions
• Provide Estimated Project Timelines
• Utility Gas Meter Placement  Recommendation to Meet Utility Standards
• Submit Utility Application 
• Communicate Effectively with the Utility Company and the Client to ensure transparency of Utility requirements (such as Land Easement, Permits, etc.)
• Review Utility Design and Contract (if applicable) for Design Conformance Accuracy
• Coordinate all Pre-construction Tasks with the Client’s Construction Team (Underground inspections)
• Ensure all Tasks are met to Schedule the Utility Construction Date
